The New York Society of Etchers, 3rd National, Exhibition of Intaglio Prints, Due: April 15, 2013

Juror: Dr. Leonard Moss and Dr. Muriel Moss

Original, two-dimensional intaglio prints including etchings, engravings, aquatints, mezzotints, carborundum prints, and photo etchings not previously exhibited with the NYSE.  Mixed media prints where one of more of these processes dominates may also be submitted. PAPER SIZE – INCLUDING IMAGE – MAY NOT EXCEED A MAXIMUM 22”X 30”.

Art at the X: Multicultural Expressions Of Faith, Due: May 10, 2013

Artists 18+ are invited to submit art that reflects multicultural expressions of faith and spirituality for an exhibition at Xavier University.  This competition covers all mediums of original works of art – painting, sculpture, ceramics, fibers, printmaking, photography, graphic design and mixed-media.  Jurors will select art that reflects the multicultural diversity of Xavier University. $5,000 in purchase awards.

Boston Printmakers: North American Print Biennial 2013 , Due: January 15 – June 25, 2013

Juror: Dennis Michael Jon, Associate Curator, Minneapolis Institute of Arts



This online exhibition will survey artworks that use print media or techniques in concert with animation, video, and film. We welcome all formats that can be linked, embedded, or uploaded to the submission site: GIFs, stills of full videos, embedded YouTube and Vimeo videos, etc.
The final selection of pieces will be curated by Amanda Lee, Endi Poskovic, and Erik Waterkotte, and will be presented at Impact 8 an international conference, as part of the Crossing Into The Cinematic panel discussion in Dundee, Scotland, in August and September 2013.
