Fall 2012: Opportunities

Venice Printmaking Studio Residencies

The Venice Printmaking Studio is a non-profit international studio devoted to large-format printmaking and artist’s books. We encourage the exploration of traditional as well as experimental printmaking practices and ideas.  Our facilities allow for both large and small format intaglio etching, screenprinting, relief printing and letterpress. Through our residency programs, workshops, exhibitions, community projects and printmaking ventures we are a vibrant, contemporary space in the city of Venice.

Applications are now being accepted for 2013 residencies – apply today, housing is included! We also have an exciting new opportunity for emerging artists to be published and exhibited internationally. Art Editions Program offers 3 annual residencies, participation in “Contemporary Large Format Printmaking” exhibition, and a professionally published limited edition print.

Come to Venice, explore the ancient city and its history, learn a bit of Italian, sample the wine, and make some awesome gigantic prints! Remember, 2013 is the year of the famous Venice Biennale, internationally acclaimed art exhibit – a must-see for every artist traveling to Italy.
